Showcase your commitment to continuing education by earning your Fellowship, Mastership, or Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Earn AGD Fellowship
AGD Fellows commit to oral care that goes above and beyond.
Distinguish yourself professionally by pursuing the AGD Fellowship Award. Earning Fellowship through the attainment of quality continuing education (CE) culminates with receipt of your award at the AGD Convocation Ceremony held each year during the AGD's Scientific Session.
Only 6% of General Dentists complete their AGD Fellowship.
Earn AGD Mastership
Complete your journey to excellence by achieving AGD’s highest honor for lifelong learning — the Mastership Award. Mastership represents the highest level of achievement for members in accordance with AGD's mission to advance general dentistry and oral health through quality continuing education.
The New Mexico AGD hosts two MasterTrack programs a year- in the spring and fall. These are two day courses designed with a "hands-on" component and opportunities to present in-office protocol assignments. The two day courses are designed to award 16 CE participation credits towards earning the Mastership award. Protocol presentations (optional) award an additional 16 CE credits.
Only 2% of General Dentists complete their AGD Mastership.
Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition
In AGD, continued learning persists even after members have earned Mastership. AGD Masters can continue demonstrating their commitment to lifelong learning and service to the community and/or organized dentistry by earning Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR).
